Americans Did Not Vote in 2020, We Played the Lottery

Whether by design or dumb luck, the Democrats won the 2020 national election not because those voting for them supported any of their policies, or even knew what they were.

The Dems did not win because their voters were seeking social justice, nor were the voters particularly concerned about their own financial or job status, much less the economy.

Democrat voters did not give a Georgia hoot about what form of government we have, or whether it is best to have divided government. They did not even vote for social justice, at least not in the way that at least half of us understand it.

They did not vote for a President or for Congressional representatives for any other reason than they were, for all intents and purposes, not casting a ballot but purchasing a Lottery ticket. And why not? The Democrat Party campaigned on a Mega Millions ticket. "Vote For Us and Get Rich!"

Free college. College loan forgiveness. Free health care. Reparations (it's going to happen). Pay Equality. Untaxed, government-provided income. Super-charged Affirmative Action. Getting hired and paid for a position for which you are not even close to being qualified. And for those who don't mind working occasionally, as long as the work is not too hard, "high-paying jobs in the so-called "Clean Energy" industry. With any luck, it won't be long before they are guaranteed a basic income.

Already Americans can pull down a tidy $36,000 per year for doing nothing. Well, not exactly nothing; there is the requirement that you be, at least in your imagination, oppressed. I figure the new government lottery money will amount to at least another $60,000 a year for many Americans. That's close to a hundred grand annualy for doing little or nothing for the rest of your life.

Who cares about Foreign policy when they are getting fat and happy off of Domestic policy?

The Democrat Party makes the Devil look like a piker when it comes to temptation and manipulation. When Jesus was driven into the dessert for 40 days of temptation by the Devil, he really was tempted, but he resisted the temptation not only so that he could fulfill his mission, but so that those who believe in him and live their lives in the power and comfort of the Holy Spirit can likewise resist temptation. But the Dems know that most people don't have more than a passing acquaintance with Jesus, and have rightly deduced that temptation is the tact to pursue when it comes to grasping civil and social power through the exercise of your right to vote for government largesse.

The only thing Donald Trump could have done to hold on to the Presidency was to pivot and offer people twice as much as the Dems offered. Freedom, honor, conviction, truth and honesty have intrinsic rewards. Democrat voters (and many Republicans) would rather have hard currency, even if it's not worth the paper it is printed on.

Yep, we did not just recently hold an election. We held a lottery, with 80 million people thinking they won something.
