The Long, Dark Winter of Joe Biden's Bitterness

Angry and Bitter Uncle Joe

If Joe Biden's pre-inauguration anger and bitterness are signs of his post-inauguration behavior--and I fear they are--we are indeed, as the President-elect is fond of saying, in for a long, dark winter. Only this one won't be seasonal in the usual sense of that word. This winter is going to last for four years or until Kamala Harris takes office and the winter continues, only darker and colder.

So, why is it that Joe is angry, do you suppose. Is it because he hates Trump, and his anger will subside when Trump is gone? I think not. Is it because of his age, a natural grumpiness possessed of most octogenarians? I think not.

Allow me to suggest several causes for Uncle Joe's anger.

First, Uncle Joe wanted to be President long before now, back when he was younger, more physically and mentally fit, and not so tired of the grind of politics. Bitterness is a form of anger, and Uncle Joe is bitter that it took him this long to ascend to the Presidency. Being President when you are eighty is not near as fun as when you are 50 or 60.

Second, it's not just because winning the Presidency took him so long. It is because it is not really his presidency, it is the presidency of those who are manipulating his puppet strings. Barack Obama. The Progressive wing of the Democrat Party. The Socialist wing of the Party.

Third, and closely tied to the second reason, are the deals he had to make with others to give them what they want in return for a get-out-of-jail card for his and Hunter's and Jim Biden's treasonous foreign deals with China, Russia and God-and-the-CIA-only knows how many other countries he has bullied and manipulated for self-enrichment. Securing the Presidency means he likely will never be prosecuted. And should prosecution happen, the DNC and Kamala Harris have promised a pardon for Joe and the whole corrupt Biden gang. It's hard to get happy about being in power when the real power is not yours, and you must heel when everyone who could send you to jail snaps their fingers.

Yes, Uncle Joe is angry and bitter for a number of very good reasons that have nothing to do with his age and nothing to do with anything real or imagined that Trump has done to the country or to him personally.

Happy Uncle Joe Biden

But there is a way for Uncle Joe to leave this life happy. Shortly after he is sworn in, he can have a real or feigned medical crisis and resign the Presidency. He can check out having finally won the grand prize, and without any fear that he or anyone in his family will be prosecuted for their grievous and treasonous crimes against the American people.

Yes, Uncle Joe has a clear path for wrapping up his life without the anger and bitterness he currently is feeling and exhibiting. As for the rest of us, he could care less if we are angry with him. He got his and his family members got theirs. . .to hell with the rest of us.
