You've Been Jilted: Sweet Dreams and The Coming Foreign / Domestic Policy Flip-Flop

Cue the music: Patsy Cline singing "Sweet Dreams (of You)." This song and this post are for you, America.

The average United States citizen is either too stupid, too ignorant or too fat and lazy to care about such things as foreign and domestic policy in terms of what is the right thing to do regarding those policies, rather than what's in it for them, but let's forge ahead with this post anyway.

In the United States, at least from time-to-time, we have recognized that not all foreign countries are our friends, while at the same time we have sought to protect our citizenry from foreign threats to our American way of life. That part about "our way of life" is important. Ask the average citizen if the United States has enemies and he might say "Yes," but ask him what makes another country our enemy, or what our enemies want to do to the United States and you will find that he is probably--and it bears repeating here--too stupid, too ignorant or too fat and lazy to provide a lucid answer. Allow me to provide that answer for you. Our enemies want to dominate the world and destroy the American way of life.

Wretched ignorance aside, let's look at a binary set of assumed realities that will give us some insight as to why and how Foreign and Domestic policies either protect our country and our freedoms, or destroy them, and how those policies flip-flop based on who's in charge of the country.

Our enemies now become our allies, and our way of life no longer needs to be protected, it needs to be deconstructed and re-made.

The First Reality, in which approximately 50% of Americans are living, is that some countries are our enemies and want to destroy the American way of life. In that reality, our foreign policy tends to be nationalist in nature, designed to protect the American way of life for all. In this reality, those threatening foreign countries are to be contained and restrained, by force if necessary, from destroying the American way of life--our Republican form of government, our various freedoms, etc. In this reality, the American citizen comes first.

The Second Reality, in which approximately 50% of Americans are living, is that America is not perfect and that the Foreign countries that are threatening to those living in the First Reality are not only to be appeased, they are to be enlisted in fixing what's wrong with this country.  Our enemies are not our enemies, they are our role models. They are not to be constrained from destroying the American way of life, they are to be set free to to help American elitists reform it. In this reality, the American citizen comes second, and in fact is an annoyance rather than someone to be cherished and protected.

You thought you were the first love of the elitists, of the government.

If the people living in the First Reality have control of the country, but the people living in the Second Reality wrest that control away from them, by hook or crook (the latter, it turns out in 2020), then Foreign and Domestic policies, naturally, will flip-flop. Our enemies now become our allies, and our way of life no longer needs to be protected, it needs to be deconstructed and re-made.

With the recent election of soon-to-be President Kamala Harris, along with the Democrat-Socialist control of Congress, this all will soon become very clear to those who currently are confused or have their doubts. Russia, China and other bad-actor countries are soon to be the very good friends of the American oligarchs and elitists (or more correctly, they are already the lovers of American oligarchs and elitists who now are able to come out of the closet), and you, the average citizen, are in for a remake so drastic that you won't be able or willing to protest or resist the love affair our new government has with our former enemies. You thought you were the first love of the elitists, of the government. Think again. You've been jilted.
